A video from an event in Davao City is circulating online, showing actress Belle Mariano interacting with a fan. The incident happened on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the University of Southeastern Philippines Gymnasium during the Star Magic Shooting Stars Exhibition Game, which also featured Belle’s love team partner, Donny Pangilinan.
In the video, a fan can be seen approaching the young actress after her performance. The fan was carrying a bouquet of white flowers, which they intended to give to Belle.
There was a bit of tension as the fan did not leave immediately and stayed on the basketball court near the actress.
As the fan first approached Belle, a security personnel immediately followed to intervene in case the fan had any ill intentions. It is the job of the event marshals to ensure the safety of everyone inside the venue, including the artists and special guests.
The security personnel kept their distance after the fan told them to back off while attempting to take a picture with Belle. The Kappamilya star was game for a photo and didn’t seem to mind the fan putting their arm around hers.
However, after a while, other security staff approached to intervene, especially since there was no longer any distance between the fan and Belle. The marshals encouraged the fan to return to his seat, but the fan refused.
The fan picked up the flowers they had placed on the floor and handed them to Belle. But the incident didn’t end there, as the fan wanted another picture with Belle while she held the flowers.
Belle agreed again, and the fan was able to take a picture, even though several security personnel were already surrounding them. After taking the picture, the security staff intervened, and the fan returned to their seat.
