One of the well-loved broadcasters of the longest-running primetime newscast on television, TV Patrol, is Henry Omaga-Diaz. Currently, he is among the anchors of the said program along with Noli de Castro, Karen Davila, and Bernadette Sembrano.

Diaz is a regular in TV Patrol and on August 30, 2024, he is to end his anchor duties after a total of eight years being a part of this news program. What is the reason why he will leave the show permanently?

According to the post of popular broadcaster Julius Babao where he shared a catch-up photo with Diaz, he will be flying to Canada on August 31, where his family is based. This Friday is going to be his last day in order to begin a new life in Canada and be with his family.

He recalled the moments they’ve had together particularly the time when they were assigned as police reporters almost at the same time in the 1990s.

He added, “Mabuti na lang at nagkausap kami bago siya lumipad pa-canada bukas. Wishing youthe best on your new and exciting adventure Henry! See you again soon!”
