Ahron Villena made this statement during his ‘Fast Talk’ interview
The Fast Talk interview of actor Ahron Villena resurfaced and was recalled by netizens after his viral post about a director.
Ahron slammed a director in his recent post who spoke about harassment in showbiz. The actor said that he was a victim of the director’s “exploit.” In his post, he claimed that the director told the production staff to take off the plaster in his private area for a certain scene because the director was the one who wanted to put this on him.
Ahron said that he felt the director’s hand intentionally touching his private part. He also mentioned in his post that he already talked about this experience in his Fast Talk interview.
Based on the article in Balita, that interview that happened in March 2024 resurfaced after Ahron Villena’s social media post. During that interview, he was with Kapuso actor Luke Conde.
This is where Ahron first talked about the “harassment” he experienced from a director who put the plaster on him for a cameo role in a project. The actor said that he just let this pass because he respected the director.
Ahron’s recent social media post about the director came after Direk Joel Lamangan made a statement about harassment in showbiz. The veteran filmmaker said that this has long been happening in showbiz and some celebrities were making this as a stepping stone to achieve the stardom they want.
Amid this issue, director Darryl Yap shared Ahron Villena’s post with the caption saying that he wanted to tag Joel Lamangan but the latter blocked him.
A statement with Direk Joel’s name circulated online that retaliated against Ahron but colleagues of the director clarified that this was fake and they defended him against the harassment issue.
