This is why Jojo Nones was ordered to detention.
Independent contractor of GMA Network Jojo Nones was detained by the senate and this the reason behind it.
The Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media has ordered the detention of Jojo Nones on Monday, August 19. He is one of the two independent contractors of GMA Network accused as the offenders of actor Sandro Muhlach.
Senate President Pro tempore Jinggoy Estrada motioned the detention which was approved by committee chairperson Senator Robinhood Padilla. He was cited in contempt for continuous lying.
During the hearing, Estrada encouraged him to admit the truth but he kept on denying the accusations. Particularly, the one Niño Muhlach, Sandro’s father, said about them providing a donation to a charitable institution of their choice for settlement. Sandro’s father insisted that this happened in the presence of GMA Network, Inc. senior vice president Annette Gozon-Valdes.
Nones and Richard Cruz are the accused personalities who did something on him in a hotel room.
In a previous article, Sandro spoke about the incident and said that he did not lie down on the bed, someone pulled him to bed. This is where everything started but regarding the details of the incident, the younger Muhlach refused to reveal the details.
“I was asking you a while ago if you offered Mr. Niño Muhlach financial contribution to any charitable institution of his own choice and you denied it. Now, here comes the affidavit signed by Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes who, I think, is a very credible person, saying that you did offer financial contributions to any charitable institution of his choice. What can you say?” said Estrada.
He refused to admit, hence, the motion for detention. He’ll only be released once he says the truth.
In the recent hearing over the case of Sandro, the actor appeared virtually and the accused were also there. The actor already filed administrative complaints before GMA, and National Bureau of Investigation and on August 19, they filed a case before the Department of Justice (DOJ).
