Ogie Diaz On Being Mentioned During Senate Hearing On Sandro Muhlach Issue

Ogie Diaz was mentioned during a Senate hearing

Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz reacted to being mentioned during the Senate hearing on the Sandro Muhlach issue.

The hearing to discuss the “Policies of Television Networks and Artist Management Agencies in Relation to Complaints of Abuse and Harassment” of the Senate Committee on Public Information and Mass Media, headed by Sen. Robin Robin invited Sandro, as well as his alleged accuser, GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.

During a session, Senator Jinggoy Estrada asked Sandro’s father Nino Muhlach how Ogie Diaz knew about the issue.

Nino said that he was not Ogie’s source. To recall, the talent manager-vlogger, who is also a popular showbiz insider, already shared cryptic posts which appeared to be about the alleged incident that happened in a hotel room after the GMA Gala 2024.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Ogie answered Sen. Jinggoy’s question. He said that he does not know any more where to put himself because people would criticize him if he is not updated about a certain issue and he will also get negative reactions if he is the first to talk about it.

In a recent episode of his Showbiz Update vlog, Ogie Diaz jokingly said that this is not a thing to wonder if he knows something about a showbiz issue because this is part of what he does as a showbiz insider.

He jokingly said that it would be impossible for Doc Willie Ong will be the first to know about a showbiz issue. Ogie also stressed that he is not competing to be the first to know.

“Nagkataon lang na ipinagkatiwala sa atin ng mga sources ang mga kuwento,” he said. The talent manager-vlogger also said that if the Senate will ask for his presence at the hearing, he is willing to come. However, he said that he will not reveal who his sources are.
