Character actor Mon Confiado reacted to this fabricated story about him that was posted by a certain Ileiad Facebook page.

Mon has been in the entertainment industry for many years already. He is used to the ins and outs of showbiz. With his years of experience as an actor, he established his name in the industry with respect from his fans and fellow artists.

However, in a recent social media post, his reputation was tarnished. Based on the article in GMA Entertainment, “Ileiad” claimed that he/she met the actor at a grocery store in Marikina City.

The netizen claimed that he/she asked for a photo with Mon Confiado but allegedly the actor did not grant the request and even pointed his finger at him. It was also alleged by the netizen that the actor did not pay for the chocolate he got from the grocery store.

Through Mon’s Facebook post, he answered this fabricated story about him. He shared screenshots of Ileiad’s post. The actor did not initially intend to respond to this this is really wrong.

Ayoko na sana patulan itong certain Ileiad na ito… pero tama pa ba ang ginagawa ng mga content creator na ito?” the actor said, adding that when he called out the netizen, a disclaimer followed.

The netizen said in an updated post that none of what he/she said was true and that he/she is a fan. However, Mon said that it was not a good thing that the netizen joked at his expense.

The actor also stressed that some people are already too much in doing this kind of thing just to garner likes from other netizens. He said that many people messaged him asking if this story was true.

Mon Confiado also said that when he warned the netizen, he did not get the response he expected. “At may pagka mayabang pa itong Ileiad na ito… nung sinabi ko idedemanda ko sya dahil ayaw pa nya tanggalin ang post nya. Threat daw ba ito? Grabe itong taong ito!” the actor said.
