Is it true that there will be a Feng Shui series?
A post online is circulating stating that Feng Shui series is now in talks and people online could not help but gush about this.
The film Feng Shui was released in 2004 which earned more than Php 100 million. Following the success of the film, lead star Kris Aquino got the moniker Box Office Horror Queen. Two years after, Aquino led Sukob, a horror film that reached the Php 200 million-mark.
To many, the 2004 horror film has an excellent premise and many appreciated the smart use of bagua mirror and the Chinese elements. Moreover, lotus feet became an icon to many and to those watched this film brought the “trauma” they’ve had when they reached adult.
This film is about Joy whose life was changed when the bagua mirror got into her hands. She received a lot of “swerte” without realizing that every luck comes with a hefty price at the end of the bargain.
The abandoned bagua is used to ward off bad energy and bring good fortune to the home. Joy brought it home and later on, she realized the curse it brought her life. Every reward, a life is taken according to the sign they were born under in the Chinese Zodiac.
Joy’s mission was to break this to prevent more deaths to happen. However, one by one, the people who have seen themselves in the mirror died which included her family. It was a situation she could not escape. A luck she found that gave her everything but cost her everyone.
Recently, post about this movie having a series circulated online and many gushed about this. According to the post, ABS-CBN Studios and director Chito Roño are now talking about making this blockbuster film a series.
It still gives them the chills but they are thrilled to see lotus feet again.
