Carlos Yulo still has a good relationship with his father
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo has this message to his father while he is still mum about his mother’s statement.
Amid the triumph that Carlos achieved in the 2024 Olympic Games, controversies surfaced that involved his relationship with his mom, Angelica Yulo. Previously, Angelica explained the money issue that allegedly prompted the conflict between her and her son. She also stressed that Caloy’s girlfriend Chloe San Jose ignited the rift between them.
Angelica also stressed that she did not take her son’s money and if she ever got a certain amount, it would not shake Caloy’s savings.
Caloy has not spoken yet about the issue between him and his mom but he shared a post criticizing Angelica. He also said that their gymnastic boss Cynthia Carreon has become a mother figure for him.
In a recent interview, after winning his second Olympic gold medal, based on the article in Bandera, Carlos Yulo shared that he worked hard during practice and it was time for him to show during the Olympic competition the fruit of his hard work preparing for it.
Then, the Pinoy gymnast shared his message for his father Mark Andrew. “Mahal na mahal ko ‘yung tatay ko. Grabe ‘yung suporta na ibinibigay n’ya. Thank you sa suporta pa, mahal na mahal kita,” Caloy said.
In a separate interview, Mark Andrew said that he prayed for reconciliation within their family. He also wished for Caloy’s peace of mind.
On the other hand, as of this writing, the Pinoy gymnast has not given any message to his mom.
Meanwhile, after the two gold medals that Carlos Yulo won, rewards kept on coming. Aside from millions of pesos that he will receive from the government, companies, and individuals, he will also receive properties like a condominium unit.
