Tom Cruise Will Pull Off Amazing Stunts During 2024 Paris Olympics Closing Ceremony
2024 PARIS OLYMPICS – One of Hollywood’s highest-paid actors Tom Cruise will perform stunts at the 2024 Paris Olympics closing ceremony.
After Celine Dion’s spectacular performance at the opening ceremony, Hollywood actor Tom Cruise is reportedly set to showcase his stunt skills at the closing ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
According to multiple US media outlets citing reliable sources, Cruise is planning an extraordinary stunt to mark the end of the Paris Olympics and hand over the flag to Los Angeles for the 2028 Games.
TMZ reported that the “Top Gun” star intends to “rappel down from the top of Stade de France to the stadium field carrying the official Olympic flag.”
This rumor gained traction following Cruise’s attendance at the opening ceremony on July 27, despite his busy schedule filming “Mission: Impossible 8.”
Organizers have promised that the closing ceremony will feature “new interpretations” and take spectators on a journey through both the past and future, highlighting key moments in the history of the Olympic Games, which originated in ancient Greece.
Although the opening ceremony faced criticism, particularly from conservative Christians, it was widely praised for being the first time in modern history the event was held entirely outdoors. The ceremony also featured Dion’s grand return to the stage and Lady Gaga’s cabaret-inspired performance along the Seine River.
The closing ceremony, equally anticipated and significant, will be hosted indoors on the 2,800-square-meter stage of the Stade de France. It will continue to feature “world-famous performers” alongside “over a hundred performers, acrobats, dancers, and circus artists.”
Variety reported that the show will include “a performance set in a dystopian environment, along with choreography involving the Olympics’ five interlaced rings, representing the world’s five continents.”
The closing ceremony is scheduled for Aug. 11.
