Daughter Shares Hilarious Conversation w/ Her Dad: “Panay na siya message na paki-picturan daw yung manok niya“
A daughter shared an amusing conversation with her father, who was concerned about his beloved chickens amid Typhoon Carina’s onslaught.
Recently, Typhoon Carina, along with the enhanced southwest monsoon, brought severe weather conditions to various parts of the country. The heavy and intense rains led to massive flooding, displacing thousands of residents.
As of Friday, July 26, 2024, the death toll from Typhoon Carina had risen to 34. The number of casualties is expected to increase as search and rescue operations continue over the coming days.

Recently, Shine Hubilla from Valenzuela City shared a funny and touching story about her father’s concern for his chickens during Typhoon Carina-enhanced southwest monsoon last July 24, 2024.
The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and garnered various reactions from the online community.
As the typhoon brought heavy rains and flooding, Shine’s father, who was at work at the time, sent her a message asking about his beloved chickens. Shine said that she had warned her dad that the floodwaters might be dangerous for the chickens.

“Nasa trabaho po kasi si papa nung nag-message siya sa akin, tapos sabi ko yung mga manok niya mamamatay [kung hindi] kukuhanin kasi ang bilis tumaas ng tubig,” Shine said.
The father’s response was a series of messages asking for updates on their condition. Hubilla’s dad kept asking her to take pictures of the chicken. She tried but it was difficult because the flood made everything dirty and unsafe.

“Panay na siya message na paki-picturan daw yung manok niya. Ako naman po ‘di ko ma-picturan nang maayos kasi ang dumi ng baha, delikado din,” she added.
The daughter found her father’s worry both amusing and endearing. Despite the challenging situation, she reassured her dad that the chickens were safe.
