Customer Praised for Her Kindness After Supermarket Staff Error

Customer Earns Admiration for Her Kindness After Supermarket Staff Mistake

A kind-hearted customer earns praise and admiration for her consideration after a supermarket staff made a mistake.

Recently, the Facebook page Marriage Thoughts shared the story of a woman’s decision to overlook a mistake made by a supermarket employee. The encounter at a supermarket has gone viral and elicited reactions online.

It started when the customer went to buy chicken legs for a rainy day recipe (Tinola). She requested that the chicken legs be cut into smaller pieces, as there were no smaller cuts available.

However, when she received the chicken, all the pieces were already cut, which was not what she had asked for. The staff member who made the mistake was visibly anxious, waiting for the customer to react.

Instead of expressing frustration or anger, the customer chose to be understanding. She told the staff member that if correcting the mistake would impact his salary, it was okay, and assured him that she was not upset.

She explained that it’s easy to get angry over a simple mistake, but it’s even easier to let small things go.

The customer shared that this approach to handling minor issues is something she and her partner practice in their marriage. They believe in letting small matters pass and choosing kindness over anger.

The post encouraged others to remain kind and not to raise their voices at service staff when they make mistakes. She encourages the public to be understanding and kind, even in frustrating situations.

Here is the full post:

Kanina, bumili ako chicken leg para i marinade sana. Walang available na smaller cuts kaya kumuha ako ng extra legs and instructed the staff na i cut nalang ng maliliit para makapag tinola. (sarap for this rainy season!. Pero yung staff, binalik nya sakin ng naka cut lahat. Huhu. Nung na-realize nya ang mistake nya, kinabahan. Waiting for me to say anything pero sabi ko nalang, “Kung makakaapekto yan sa salary mo, okay na po yan.” Tapos nahihiya syang nag sorry. I’m not mad. Hindi talaga ako basta basta o mabilis magalit. It’s easy to get mad kapag simpleng instruction lang hindi nagawa pero it’s even easier to let things pass. I will not make a fuss over small things. Yan yung isang bagay na pina practice namin ni Prince in our marriage, kapag maliit na bagay, palampasin. Isang malalim na buntong hininga nalang.

Choose to be kind always guys! Never raise a voice sa mga waiter, guard, or staffs just because they made a mistake.
