Based on a report on GMA News, Roque said that he is more than willing to face the Senate “even without an invitation”. He expressed that he wanted to appear before the Senate as he thought that Chairman Tengco will express an accusation that he is facilitating illegal POGO.

Philippine Amusement Gaming Corporation chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco said during the July 10 hearing that Roque has helped a raided POGO hub in Porac. He was named as part of the Lucky South 99’s legal department as per the PAGCOR chief.

According to former presidential spokesman Harry Roque, he knows “the real king and queen of POGO” in the country. Based on the article, the former presidential spokesperson tagged it as a very good move when the Senate invited him to be at the next hearing.

“I’ll give you a teaser, I will really expose who the protector of POGO is,” Roque said.

Roque believes that the investigation on POGOs should be stopped after Pres. Bongbong Marcos announced a ban on POGOs in the Philippines. The Chief Executive made the said mandate during his third State of the Nation Address (SONA).
