Famous actress-model Jennylyn Mercado was not at the GMA Gala 2024 and this is the reason why she was not able to attend.

Some artists wore white for the event while some stood out in their black outfits for the GMA Gala.
Since it was attended by some of GMA’s biggest stars, some people noted the absence of Jennylyn Mercado. In a previous article, the actress shared that she is currently a freelancer. She is not under any contract as her contract renewal with GMA is still under negotiation.
Why is she missing at the ball?
According to a report, Dennis Trillo, her husband, was present and she is not with him. Many netizens searched for her after seeing her husband walk the red carpet alone. In a post from her hairstylist Bianca Anne Vergara, she was about to go and even had a pictorial already with the gown she is supposed to wear at the event but something happened with her eldest Alex Jazz.
The hairstylist explained that Jazz got into a health emergency and as parents, the children are always the priority.

Regarding her career path, she currently can confirm anything yet apart from saying that she is now a freelancer. There’s also no truth to the rumors about her transferring to ABS-CBN as there are no offers. If the GMA would still want her, she would happily stay.
