Lovi Poe Begins an Exciting New Chapter w/ Star Magic
LOVI POE – Another exciting chapter unfolds for Lovi Poe as the actress officially joins Star Magic and looks forward to bigger opportunities in show business.
Actress Lovi Poe has reached another significant milestone in her entertainment career after officially becoming part of ABS-CBN’s talent management agency, Star Magic. The celebrated actress was formally introduced as the newest member of the Star Magic family during an exclusive media gathering held on July 21 at the ELJ Communications Center in Quezon City.
For Lovi, joining the agency is more than just a career move—it is the realization of a dream she has cherished since childhood.
“I would always watch Star Magic or hear about Star Magic in the past when I was younger, and just to be part of this family, I just can’t believe it. For me, it’s a dream come true,” she shared.
The actress also reflected on her recent portrayal of Mokang in the successful ABS-CBN action series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. Looking back on the experience, Lovi described it as one of the memorable highlights of her career. She also expressed her desire to collaborate once again with the show’s lead actor and director, Coco Martin, in future projects.
Aside from her thriving acting career, Lovi opened up about embracing motherhood while continuing to pursue her professional goals. She is currently raising her first child with producer Monty Blencowe and believes that being a mother has only inspired her to work harder.
“Ambition and motherhood go well together. It strengthens each other. We get anxious and think, ‘What if we don’t get to do the things that we love?’ No, you’ll still be able to do those dreams with the right people around you and with the right mindset,” she said.
Before officially signing with Star Magic, Lovi spent 15 years under GMA Artist Center, now known as Sparkle. She transferred to ABS-CBN in 2021 as an exclusive talent for the network’s content productions, although her official affiliation with Star Magic only became official this July.
During the welcome event, Star Magic and TV Production head Laurenti Dyogi praised Lovi’s remarkable range as an artist and highlighted her achievements in various fields.
“Lovi represents excellence. She can do a lot of things. She is a great actress, a performer, and a producer. She can and is in a good place to protect the legacy of her father, FPJ,” Dyogi said during the event.
Over the years, Lovi has successfully balanced projects in both the Philippines and the United States, building an impressive portfolio that includes international productions such as Bad Man and My Sister’s Bones. Beyond acting, she has also ventured into filmmaking through her own production company, C’est Lovi Productions, further showcasing her creativity and passion behind the camera.
With her official entry into Star Magic, Lovi Poe begins an exciting new chapter, one that promises more opportunities both in front of and behind the camera as she continues to expand her career in the entertainment industry.
