Nadia Montenegro wants to put an exclamation point in her story about Baron Geisler
Actress Nadia Montenegro narrates her side of the story about what happened between her, actor Baron Geisler, and their daughter Sophia.
The issue between Baron and Nadia resurfaced when the actor revealed in an interview that he has a daughter before he had a child with his wife Jamie Evangelista. Years ago, rumors have circulated about him and Nadia.
Veteran showbiz insider Cristy Fermin was one of the reporters who made a revelation about Baron and Nadia’s daughter which the latter denied back then.
In a previous interview, Nadia Montenegro took a swipe at Baron Geisler for his intention in revealing about his first daughter. With her accusation that the actor did this for views, the latter simply said that he does not want to comment on this when asked to react to what Nadia said.
In a recent interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Nadia directly confirmed that Sophia is her child with Baron. She said that she is speaking not for the views or to trend on social media but she wants to put an exclamation point to everything.
The actress said that 17 years ago, there was someone who stole her story from her, when the time when she was trying to correct her mistake. She stressed that nobody has the right to tell her own story. For her, she could not even said that Sophia was a mistake because she is a beautiful girl inside and out.
Nadia also shared that she promised Baron the one meeting that he had with his daughter but no one would ever know this. She said that Baron and their daughter have been communicating through social media but not meeting in person.
The actress pointed out that this situation lasted for the longest time because she has given unlimited chances to him to change. “Give me a reason na ipaharap kita sa kanya na sober ka. The drunk messages. The drunk text to my daughter, do you think that would help her?” she said.
Nadia Montenegro also said that even though Baron Geisler did not mention her and Sophia’s name during his interview, their lives were still “nabulabog.” The actress revealed that her daughter was affected by this as she was bullied in school.
“She was bullied. Someone all of a sudden just posted on the student council page a picture of Baron in jail, ‘Kaninong tatay ito?’” Nadia shared. She stressed that she wants this issue to end for Sophia who is turning 18 years old.
