JK LABAJO – Singer-songwriter JK Labajo is a proud boyfriend following Dia Mate’s win in Miss World Philippines.

OPM singer JK Labajo is a proud boyfriend after his beauty-queen girlfriend won one of the five crowns at the recently concluded Miss World Philippines 2024. Deanna Marie “Dia” Maté from Cavite was crowned Reina Hispanoamericana Pilipinas 2024 at the national pageant held at MOA Arena, Pasay City, on the evening of June 19, 2024.

Khrisna Gravidez from Baguio was named Miss World Philippines 2024. “I am so proud, honestly. She has come a really long way ever since she started. I’m just… I don’t know… I’m lost for words,” JK expressed in an interview with ABS-CBN reporter Dyan Castillejo.

Dia was also a candidate in Miss Universe Philippines 2024, where Chelsea Manalo from Bulacan won. Dia will represent the Philippines in the Reina Hispanoamericana 2024 pageant to be held in Bolivia.

JK was also asked if he will attend the international pageant to support his girlfriend. He said, “It depends. It depends,” JK responded.

“It depends on his schedule,” Dia added.

“No, but I wanna go, definitely. I wanna go. But I’m really proud, I’m really proud. It’s her spotlight,” JK said about his girlfriend’s victory.

JK confirmed their relationship after reposting Dia’s birthday greeting to him on February 5, 2024. Dia posted a birthday message to the singer, which included, “I love you.”

JK responded with “love you” in return.

In a PEP exclusive interview recently, Dia shared that JK has been a supportive boyfriend during Dia’s pageant journey.

Dia’s statement about her boyfriend: “He’s always just been my sidekick, my partner, and he is just there for whatever I need, whether that be a shoulder to cry on, someone to cheer me on, or someone to even give me random Q&A advice or practice.”
