Update on Pres. Bongbong Marcos, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Approval & Trust Ratings

BONGBONG MARCOS – The approval and trust ratings of the President went down while Vice President Sara Duterte’s approval rating is up based on Pulse Asia Survey.

From time to time, there are surveys conducted to get a view of the approval and trust ratings of the people to the government officials most especially those that occupy the top-most spots. In the Philippines, the Pulse Asia Research Inc. is one of those that usually conduct a survey.

Pulse Asia usually conduct surveys to determine the approval and trust of the Filipinos to the president and the vice president. It also conducts surveys to determine the public bets amid a fast-approaching election.

Recently, Pulse Asia released the results of its June survey on the approval and trust ratings for Pres. Bongbong Marcos who is about to do his second SONA and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte who will skip the SONA. The approval and trust ratings of the President went down.

Based on a report on GMA News, the approval rating of Pres. Bongbong Marcos went down from 55 in March to 53 in June. With regards to his trust rating, it also decreased from 57 in March to 52 in June.

In the case of the approval and trust ratings for Vice Pres. Sara Duterte, the results of the latest study showed that the approval rating of the Vice President went up from 67 in March to 69 in June. Based on the article, the trust rating of the Vice President remains at 71 points.

On the drop of the approval rating of Pres. Marcos, the biggest drop was recorded in Luzon at 9% from 66 to 57. In Mindanao, a two-percent decrease from 40 to 38 was recorded.

In the National Capital Region (NCR), a 14-point increase in the approval rating for Pres. Bongbong Marcos was recorded by Pulse Asia from 47 to 61. Based on the article, in Visayas, the approval rating of the President rose from 54 to 56.

In the case of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte who recently resigned as the DepEd Secretary, her approval rating rose by 3, 12, and 16 points in Mindanao, NCR, and Visayas, respectively.
