MMFF 2024 first five movies include film of Vice Ganda and here are the others.
The movies of Vic Sotto and Vice Ganda was able to make it to the MMFF 2024 and these are the other movies for the first batch.
This year is Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 50th year and recently, they announced the first five films participating this year. Reportedly, there were 39 scripts submitted and instead of choosing four entries for the first batch, the committee decided to select five from the total of submitted scripts.
Leading the list of the first batch is ABS-CBN Film Productions, Inc. & The Ideafirst Company’s “And The Bread Winner Is…”
This film stars Vice Ganda and Eugene Domingo and will be directed by award-winning director Jun Lana. The announcement was made during 50th Metro Manila Film Festival’s grand launch that has a theme “Sine Sigla sa Singkwenta”.
The event was hosted by Jake Ejercito and Isabelle Daza and was attended by MMFF Executive Committee led by Metro Manila Development Authority chairman Don Artes. First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos was also present as part of the members of entertainment media and guests.
