During their film’s media conference, Julia Barretto shared she’s proud of the actor.
Here’s how Julia Barretto described Joshua Garcia now five years after they parted ways as a love team and real-life couple.
Some say it’s okay to be friends with an ex but in real life, this is quite hard and requires a long process. In befriending an ex, a lot of factors must be considered. It’s just becomes a good idea to befriend an ex if both of you have platonic feelings toward each other, have aligned goals, there’s mutual respect, when there’s closure, and when both are emotionally mature.
As for the case of celebrities Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia, it seemed like they’ve checked out all these considerations already. Five years after they separated as a real-life couple, they reunited for a film suited with their new selves and new life.
JoshLia’s “Un/happy For You” film official trailer is out already and during a media conference, the actress was asked about the past and present Joshua. She was asked to described him and her new discoveries about him and the first words she said was she is proud of him.
“Sobrang proud ako kay Josh,” she quipped.
She saw it when first had their look test and saw his confidence. She saw how he carried himself confidently and his actions showed how secured he is of the person that he is now. He knows himself too well now and knows what he wants and doesn’t want.
Julia is proud of how he evolved to be the man that he is today.
