“Makikita niyo ang mga cloud clusters dito sa Southern Luzon at maging dito din sa labas ng Philippine area of responsibility na nasa bahagi nitong axis ng tinatawag nating intertropical convergence zone, at ito ang inaasahan nating magdadala ng pag-ulan,” Badrina said.

The ITCZ will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Metro Manila, CALABARZON (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon), MIMAROPA (Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan), Bicol Region, and Western Visayas.

The easterlies will bring similar weather conditions over Central Luzon.

Possible flash floods or landslides are expected due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

The intertropical convergence zone will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Visayas, and Mindanao. Flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.

The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather conditions over the rest of Luzon.

No tropical cyclones are expected to form or enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the coming days.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over Northern, Central Luzon, and the remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate.

PAGASA did not raise a gale warning over any country’s seaboard.
