This is the reaction of Jed Madela to the accusation.
Singer-songwriter Jed Madela was previously called out by his former manager and this is his response to the accusation.
OPM singer Jed Madela was called out by his former manager Annie T. Mercado who claimed that his new single has some innuendos about her and her family. Madela’s new song is “Wish U the Worst” and in her claims, she called the singer ungrateful towards the family that took care of him.
Talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz previously discussed the issue of Madela and his former manager and according to his source, there was “pisikalan” that happened. His former manager was also a relative of his and she took care of him since he was young. The former manager also told Diaz that the singer disrespected her.
In an interview, Jed reacted to this. Amidst the recent events in his life, he expressed, “It’s a family matter, and we’re trying to deal with it privately.”
Asked if his new single is a diss track, he clarified that it was not him who wrote it. The song was written by Kio Priest and it was offered to him. After everything, he remained grateful amid the accusation that he was not. He is grateful to her for bringing him to Manila and for starting his career.
It was her who helped him join the show business industry but at present, they have different priorities. They are focused on other thing while his focus now is to do something different. But things happened. All he could hope for is for things to become better and as the last song he sang has relayed, “all will be alright in time, if we learn to forgive”.
He is referring to Ben&Ben hit song “Leaves”, the song he performed to close his recent 20th anniversary concert “Welcome to My World” at the Music Museum last July 5.
