In a post, Ogie Diaz addressed the frequently asked questions to him about Liza Soberano, his former “alaga”.
Veteran showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz and actress Liza Soberano have an issue before but despite everything that was said and done, Diaz expressed that he has no ill feelings to the actress. To recall, in her past statements, Soberano seemingly implied that she did not have the right to choose the career she wanted for herself before.
She felt caged, especially in being a love team. However, some people found these statements of the actress ungrateful. They believed that how she was handled before gave her the reputation she has now while other, on the other hand, commended her bravery for speaking up.
Soberano and Diaz’s issue died down but just previously, Liza made another statement again that caught the people’s attention. She said, “When I made the decision, I was already 12 years into my acting career. I felt like an adult but nobody treated me like one. Nobody treated me like I had a right to my own opinion. In a new post, Diaz addressed some of the frequent questions to him about his former “alaga”. He was asked if he is angry at her, if they have ever met following the issues, and if will he greet her if their paths cross.
Diaz responded to this and shared that he and Liza have actually not seen each other for two years now. The last time they saw each other was in a zoom and in case they accidentally meet each other, he will definitely greet her because he is not mad at her.
The comments he made about her, on the other hand, was just his way to correct her claims. Those were the narratives that he felt like need some addressing from him.
He said based on a post, “Yung mga kuda ko naman, pag meron lang akong gustong i-correct sa mga narrative niya, eh. Doon lang ako nagsasalita.”
