The dress, created by the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress Foundation, is described as a “work of art.” It’s made from flags of countries where LGBTQIA+ rights are suppressed, including eight nations where homosexual acts can lead to the death penalty. While the original bodice is made from the Amsterdam city flag, Vice Ganda wore a gold Filipiniana top instead.

By wearing this empowering dress, Vice has joined other prominent figures in advocating for the LGBTQIA+ community.
