How calm, proper, patient, professional and dedicated she is at work. It’s normal for a lead star to get overwhelmed at times due to stress, lack of sleep, the amount of scenes, length of lines, expectations and pressures from management and viewers, but I’ve never observed any of those in her,” Carla Abellana shared.

The homegrown Kapuso star also said that Bea is so prepared to the point that she would even remember particular details and even the lines of her co-stars from the scenes they previously shot.

Carla also stressed that there was no “upstaging” issue between her and Bea. She believes that there is no need for this and they both have their own uniqueness. For Carla, Bea is on a different level.

When it comes to her character in the series, Carla shared that she learned that people who are so focused what they want or love to do, their understanding and empathy become narrow.

“It may get to the point where that individual is no longer able to put himself/herself in the shoes of others. This applies to loyalty, too. It’s not always good. Loyalty can be bad, even dangerous,” Carla Abellana explained.

Meanwhile, Kapuso writer Suzette Doctolero clarified in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Widow’s War is not about “agawan ng asawa” as she emphasized the main characters are “widows”.
