The confirmation of Xian Lim and Kim Chiu’s split in December 2023 deeply saddened many fans of their KimXi tandem. The pair, who first gained popularity as on-screen partners before becoming a real-life couple, starred together in notable TV series such as My Binondo Girl and The Story Of Us, along with successful movies like Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo, Past Tense, and Bride for Rent.
Their breakup was surrounded by controversies, including rumors of infidelity on Xian’s part, which he denied. There were also unconfirmed reports alleging that he asked Kim to cook steak for him before ending their relationship.
In a recent appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Xian Lim disclosed that it was Kim Chiu who initiated the breakup. He clarified that his comments about their separation were not intended to promote his upcoming film, debunking speculations from netizens.
Just recently, the It’s Showtime host revealed what she learned from love. Kim was all smiles and looked radiant at the recent media conference of a business app, where the actress was introduced as its first-ever brand ambassador.
Kim Chiu felt excited upon learning that she was chosen as the first brand ambassador of BillEase because, she said, the app is “very now” and very updated, especially now that almost everything can be done online and on mobile phones.
The actress-host was briefly interviewed by the press after the event held at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City. One of the questions for Kim was about her trending skydiving experience in Dubai.
“Fifth skydiving ko na siya. So isa ‘yan sa bucket list ko, ‘yung tumalon talaga sa Dubai. Ginawa ko siya bago umuwi kasi masikip na talaga ‘yung time pero pinilit ko talaga. Nag-7:00 a.m. jump ako so okay naman,” she shared.
According to Kim, she enjoyed the experience and is not afraid of heights. The versatile Kapamilya star was also asked about her insights on love.
She said, “Installment lang natin ang pagbigay ng love. Hindi ‘yung buo.”
