In an interview, actress Nadine Lustre did not give a definite answer about rumors regarding her contract with ABS-CBN.
Actress Nadine Lustre was with ABS-CBN when her career skyrocketed. She and James Reid were once a love team and for a time, their partnership was among the top ones in the industry.
Their love team was discovered through the film “Diary Ng Panget” and since then, projects followed and piled up for them. They made several other films like Talk Back And You’re Dead and Never Not Love You and TV series like On The Wings Of Love and Til I Met You.
When they separated, their love team also disbanded. Cutting the story short, they now have their separate lives with their respective partners and currently, there are talks about Nadine signing a contract again with ABS-CBN.
In an interview with MJ Marfori, she confirmed that she will be having a comeback this year but she is still waiting for the updates. Also, possibly this year, an update about her film Nokturno with Director Mikhail Red will also have an update.
As for her comeback, it would be this year but she is just waiting. She said, “I don’t really know what update on that is, but definitely this year it will be, you know, they will give us more updates.”
She cannot speak out other confirmation as she remains busy as well with other stuff.
Asked about signing a contract with ABS-CBN, she quipped, “We’ll see.”
In the end, what can make a change is the pitch of a right project at the right time. There are offers for her and pitches, but for now, she’s staying still. She is not in a rush and she’s rather actually focus on music and business.
To recall, Nadine and her boyfriend officially launched their wine business called Maison Bukana Wines.
