Viral Couple’s Re-Do Wedding Had P1 Million Budget
On June 17, 2024 (Monday), Janine and Jove’s re-do wedding celebration in Barangay Batinguel, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental goes viral online. The couple elicited various reactions from the online community.
The event was made possible after event organizers and suppliers in the area came together to sponsor the couple’s second wedding ceremony.
Their first wedding on June 8, 2024 went viral due to some unfortunate scenes at the church. The bride and groom were scolded by church staff for being late, and the bride could not even walk properly down the aisle as the priest had already started the ceremony.
One of the couple’s sponsors also publicly apologized for providing the wrong mass schedule and venue to the newlyweds.
Thanks to the generosity and coordination of various sponsors, Janine and Jove’s redo wedding celebration had an estimated budget of P1 million, which the couple did not have to pay a single peso for.
Janine and Jove felt joy and gratitude for the grand re-do of their wedding day, made possible by the kindhearted event suppliers and organizers in their community.
Some of the free services and items provided included the venue, catering, photographer/videographer, bride’s gown, flower arrangements, and likely more.
While their first wedding day did not go as planned, the suppliers’ kind gesture allowed the couple to have their dream celebration the second time around at no cost to them.
