Alex Muhlach’s Girlfriend Recalls Struggles they Surpass in their Relationship

More than a week ago, the relationship of Alex Muhlach, the father of Niño Muhlach, and his girlfriend went viral on social media. It hooked the attention of netizens because of their 52-year age gap.
Alex just turned 82 years old while his girlfriend, Mae Fortaleza, is turning 30 years old this year. They were together since 2014. The public had different reactions to the 52-year age gap lovestory of Niño Muhlach’s father and his girlfriend.
There were individuals who were inspired by the relationship of the couple that is on its 10th year now despite their age gap. However, there were also those who bashed Alex and his girlfriend’s relationship.
Niño Muhlach even issued a statement for the bashers of his father’s relationship with a much younger woman. He stressed that their family even support the relationship of his dad and can see him happy.
Recently, Alex Muhlach turned 82 years old and he celebrated his birthday in Bohol. Based on a report on Pep, in an exclusive interview with the Cabinet Files, Sandro Muhlach shared that it was initially just his grandfather and his girlfriend who were set to go to Bohol for his birthday.
According to Sandro, when the family found out that they are going to Bohol, they also got excited and decided to join the couple in their trip. Some of the closest family friends and the office staff of the Muhlach Bakery were also there.
The son of Niño Muhlach also revealed during the interview that his father and his aunts prepared a birthday party for his grandfather which was set on the last day of their stay in Bohol. At the party, one of those who gave a birthday message for the birthday celebrant was Alex Muhlach’s girlfriend, Mae.
Alex Muhlach’s girlfriend recalled that they went through a lot in their relationship which is on its 10th year now but they were able to surpass it. Mae also recalled that there were a lot of challenges and many people also judged them.
“Pero andito pa din kami, patuloy at patuloy na matibay, mabubuhay na masaya at magkasama. I love you,” she expressed.
As for Sandro, he wishes his grandfather a long life so he can be with him for a long time so he would witness his achievements in life. Alex, on his birthday, wishes that all his children will get along and gather as some of them are in abroad.
