VIRAL WEDDING ISSUE – A bride who was scolded by a priest for being late on her wedding day has received support from local suppliers.

Wedding suppliers in Negros Oriental have rallied to support a bride whose wedding went viral on social media. The suppliers, moved by the bride’s story, have come together to offer their services for free, ensuring the couple gets a second chance at their special day.

The wedding of Janine Seit Suelto-Sagario and Jove Deo in Amlan, Negros Oriental becomes one of the most controversial topics online. Due to a scheduling mix-up, the couple arrived at the church thinking their ceremony was delayed, only to find it had already started.

The bride caught off guard, was still at the entrance when the priest began the service. The wedding earns support from the online community.

John Lester Barot, a wedding violinist who witnessed the incident, took the initiative to organize a redo of the wedding. He led a collaborative effort among local wedding suppliers to provide their services.

The second wedding, dubbed “Take Two,” is scheduled for June 17, 2024.

As of this writing, several sponsors have pledged their support, providing a host, coffee, bridal car, ice cream, photography, bridal gown, and more. Efforts are ongoing to secure food for the event, and funds are being raised to present to the couple.

“It will be the wedding of the year. Take two weddings,” said Barot.

Barot also requested everyone to refrain from negative comments about the previous incident and to join in wishing the couple a lifetime of happiness and love. He emphasized the importance of focusing on the positive outcome and the community’s solidarity.
