A woman goes viral and elicits reactions online for bursting into a parish church in Lupon, Davao Oriental, yelling, ‘Itigil ang kasal!’
Recently, a TikTok user named ‘japs_and_etc’ shared a video of a woman who bursts into a parish church and causes a scene. The post immediate spread like wildfire on social media and garnered reactions from netizens.
In the video, the woman is seen storming into the church, shouting and causing a commotion. She made it to the middle of the church before fainting, prompting people to carry her out.
The bride issued a statement saying that neither she nor her groom knew the woman following the viral incident. They believed the woman might be “mentally challenged” or not in her right mind.
“Nagpaliwanag na po ang bride sa pangyayaring ito. Hindi po nila kilala ang babaeng sumigaw. Masasabi din daw na mukhang mentally challenged yung babae o wala sa katinuan,” the uploader said.
The bride also clarified that the wedding ceremony was almost over and they were already in the middle of their photo session when the woman disrupted the event. “patapos na ang kasal na nangyari na o nasa pictorial session na sila,” she added.

The video quickly went viral, garnering over 1.1 million views and 6,760 likes on TikTok. People were shocked and intrigued by the unexpected interruption.
