Angel Aquino recalled her movie stint with Sharon Cuneta and Hilda Koronel
Actress Angel Aquino talked about her chance to work with Megastar Sharon Cuneta and veteran actress Hilda Koronel in the movie Crying Ladies.
Angel was officially launched as an actress through the movie Mumbaki which was released in 1996. In less than a decade, she was given a chance to take a big role in a movie with Sharon and Hilda.
In a recent interview with The Philippine Star, Angel recalled the project he did with two prominent actresses in the entertainment industry.

Angel Aquino admitted that she is a fan of Sharon Cuneta. “The whole time I was just fangirling. Because I’m a Sharonian,” she shared.
She also became a fan of Hilda Koronel after exploring her films. “Si Hilda, when I became aware of art movies, and you know, the Lino Broca films, I became a fan,” Angel shared.
She added that it was also because Hilda was so beautiful. When they were working together, Angel said that she was just following Sharon and Hilda’s rhythm. “Because I didn’t want to fall so far behind them,” she added.
Angel also shared that she felt grateful to be part of that movie because she was relatively new back then in the entertainment industry but she was given a chance to be part of that big project.

She said that despite Sharon and Hilda’s star status, they made her comfortable. “But they were so, they made it so easy because Sharon is just, she’s a people person talaga. They were generous enough to guide me. Walang diva sa kanila,” the actress shared.
Angel Aquino also said that Sharon Cuneta and Hilda Koronel were so generous with their tips for her and they were so warm. Because of that, she did not feel intimidated and it was a great experience for her.
Previously, Angel also recalled her movie Glorious with younger actor Tony Labrusca.
