Geremar recounted his visit to Greenwich SM City Iloilo two weeks ago. After finishing their meal, they had one plate of pizza left and requested to take it home. To their surprise, they were informed there was a charge for this service.

Despite the fee being minimal, only P15, they decided to pay rather than carry the pizza without a container option offered by the restaurant.

Many netizens expressed surprise at the additional charge, while others shared similar incidents at different branches of Greenwich and other fast-food chains. The post points out concerns about transparency in pricing and customer expectations regarding take-out services.

“This was happened 2weeks ago when we decided to dine in at Greenwich Sm City Iloilo. After namon kaon may ara kami bilin nga isa ka plate nga Pizza. So gin pa take out namon, then nakibot kami may charge na gali if mag pa take out. Gamay man lang tani kay 15 pesos man lng ang charge. So nag pay kami, kesa kamoton namon dala puli kay wala sila nag offer plastic as option.

This is just for everybody’s awareness kay basi makibot man kamo at least nakabalo na kamo.

Pero Ask lng ko if same man ni sa ibang nga Branch sang Greenwich or dire lng ni sa Sm City Iloilo nga Branch.”
