Anjo Yllana Reacts To Revelation of Sheryl Cruz
ANJO YLLANA – The actor denied that his wedding with Sheryl Cruz did not happen because he got someone pregnant.
One of the most beautiful faces in the Philippine entertainment industry is Sheryl Cruz. She was part of several projects including the hit 1996 movie Milyonaryang Mini which was a Star Cinema film.
In the movie Milyonaryang Mini, Anjo and Sheryl worked closely towards each other that’s why, according to the actor, it was not so obvious that they were already together. The actor made the revelation to Pep when he was asked for his side about the recent revelation of the actress.
During her guest appearance on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Sheryl Cruz claimed that Anjo Yllana proposed for marriage to her but their wedding did not push through. The actress said that it is because he got someone pregnant.
When asked about the claim of Sheryl Cruz, Anjo Yllana denied that his wedding with the actress did not push through because he got someone pregnant. According to the actor, they have already broken up when he got his new girlfriend pregnant.
“Basta ang alam ko, nung meron akong bagong girlfriend, wala na kami ni Sheryl. Hindi ko alam kung nagpunta siya sa States dahil masama ang loob niya dahil nga may girlfriend na ako,” he said.
Based on the report, Anjo Yllana confirmed that he proposed for marriage to Sheryl Cruz. However, the actor claimed that his being a breadwinner of his family and being afraid of Fernando Poe Jr. were the reasons why he had cold feet about their wedding.
Sheryl is the niece of Susan Roces, the wife of FPJ. According to Anjo, the late King of Action Movies in the Philippines used to invite him for a drink but he would usually go for an escape so he’s afraid of what FPJ might say.
According to the actor, Sheryl was a very sweet girlfriend. He has already met the late father of the actress as he usually pays a visit in the house of the actress. She has also met his family.
Anjo Yllana expressed that he and Sheryl Cruz were very much in love and happy in their relationship. However, according to the actor, his responsibilities to his family outweighed their plan to marry.
