Daniel Padilla will be part of an event spearheaded by the current administration
Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla is set to join the Bagong Pilipinas Pagkakaisa concert in Davao on June 7.
Daniel’s life is not purely just showbiz. He is also exposed to politics. In the 2022 elections, he was one of the celebrities who became vocal about the candidate he was supporting. His photo standing beside the poster of former Vice President Leni Robredo, who ran for president at that time, went viral.
Back then, he and his then-girlfriend Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo were both supporting VP Leni and her party.
To recall, in 2022, Daniel Padilla’s mom Karla Estrada ran for partylist representative, and his father Rommel Padilla, also ran in his province. Both of Daniel’s parents were under the opposing party of what he supported.
Amid this political tension, Karla shared in an interview, that even though her son was stressed by this, she was sure that Daniel would support the the political stint of his parents.
After two years, Daniel will appear in a concert for a program created by the current administration of President Bongbong Marcos. Karla shared an announcement about this on her Instagram Story.
The Bagong Pilipinas Pagkakaisa concert will be held on June 7, at 5 PM. This will take place at the Davao del Norte Sports & Tourism Complex.
Based on the article in Inquirer, Bagong Pilipinas is the administration’s service caravan that “aims to provide major government services to less fortunate Filipinos in various communities across the country and features the government’s flagship programs.”
Meanwhile, Karla Estrada was recently asked how Daniel Padilla is now after his much-talked-about breakup with Kathryn Bernardo. The Queen Mother said that it is only her son who can really tell how he is. However, as a mother, Karla said that she always hopes the best for her son.
