Karla Estrada shared this reaction of Daniel Padilla regarding politics
Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla has this reaction to the political stint of his parents Karla Estrada and Rommel Padilla.
Karla is running as the third nominee of Tingog party list while Rommel is aiming the position of congressman of the first district of Nueva Ecija. In line with this, Karla was asked by Ogie Diaz in his recent Showbiz Update vlog about the reaction of her son.
She said, “Na-stress ‘yung anak ko. Na-stress siya, ‘di niya kinaya.” The actress-host also said that her son, as much as possible, does not want to comment on political topics. “Tapos biglang hindi man lang kapatid, talagang parehong magulang niya ang kinailangan at binigyan ng pagkakataon,” Karla added.
She also said that although Daniel Padilla has not talked to them about their political plans, she knows that their son will give his 100 percent support.
For Karla, she does not want her son to be like a shadow of her when it comes to politics. She also said that she does not mind if Daniel will not be active in campaigning for her. The important thing to her is that the people believe that she can help.
If ever Daniel will decide to be active in supporting his parents’ political stint, Karla said that it will be purely her son’s own decision.
During the same interview, the actress-host was also asked about her decision to join the party list that said no to the renewal of ABS-CBN’s franchise, the mother of Daniel Padilla said that first of all, she got the permission from the Kapamilya bosses regarding this.
“At kung umabot ako sa dulo at ako’y makaupo, sisiguraduhin kong maging bukas ang Tingog Party-list sa usapin ng prangkisa ulit ng ABS-CBN at ako ang mag-uumpisa nu’n,” she further explained.
