Daniel Padilla caught netizens’ attention with this recent photo
Kapamilya actor Daniel Padilla trended on Twitter on March 9 because of his photo with the poster of Vice President Leni Robredo.
It is known to many that Daniel’s mother Karla Estrada is endorsing the tandem of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte. Karla is running for representative under the Tingog Party list who is also being endorsed by the UniTeam.
In a previous statement, the Queen Mother said that in their family, they respect each other’s political views. She acknowledges the fact that her children can choose whoever they want to support this coming election day.
Previously, Daniel Padilla also hinted that his political view is different from what his mom believes. He liked a post against the BBM-Sara tandem that his mom is supporting.
Just recently, the actor appeared to have vocally shown his support for the presidential candidacy of VP Leni Robredo. Director Mandy Reyes shared photos on his Facebook page showing that he and Daniel posed with the campaign poster of VP Leni.
“Aba ewan ko sa inyo. Basta kay #LiderLeni kami ng tropa kong gangster,” the director wrote in the caption of his post. Because of this, the hashtag #DanielPadillaforLeni topped the Twitter trend on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Min Bernardo, the mother of actress Kathryn Bernardo who is the girlfriend of Daniel Padilla, is also a supporter of the Vice President. Mommy Min has been sharing posts about the presidential candidacy of VP Leni Robredo.
Because of this, supporters of VP Leni said that Mommy Min is the one who deserves to be called “Queen Mother” and not the mother of Daniel.
