MOTORCYCLE THEFT – Two masked men were caught on CCTV stealing a motorcycle in Barangay 35, Tondo, Manila.
On Monday morning (May 20, 2024), a Dennis Zafra, the owner of the motorcycle, discovered that his vehicle was missing at around 7 a.m.
Dennis Zafra, the owner of the motorcycle, discovered that his vehicle was missing at around 7 AM.
At the barangay office, Dennis confirmed that his motorcycle had been taken by two masked men. CCTV footage revealed that the theft occurred past 5 AM at the corner of Sandico St. and Asuncion St.
May lookout po siya,” the victim recounted.
The CCTV footage showed the suspect in black trying to unlock the motorcycle before escaping towards Asuncion St. The accomplice, dressed in blue, followed on foot, and they both headed towards Ugbo Velasquez.
Zafra explained that he usually parked his motorcycle in that spot, alongside two other motorcycles belonging to his relatives.
The victim bought the second-hand motorcycle for P30,000 to use for his work. He is hopeful that his motorcycle will be recovered since he needs it for work. The barangay officials suggested that the suspects might not be locals.
