In the video, Teacher Jeric is seen standing at the entrance of a school in the mountains, organizing slippers to give away to the children. As the students arrived, he began giving the slippers, carefully asking each child their shoe size.
The video also showed the worn-out and hole-ridden slippers that the students were previously using. The children’s joy was evident as they received their new slippers. Apart from slippers, Teacher Jeric also provided free food to the students.
Teacher Jeric explained that for many of these children, it was their first time wearing Islander slippers. Despite the poor condition of their old slippers, the students never let that stop them from pursuing their dreams and attending school.
The new slippers were a huge blessing for them, symbolizing protection and support on their journey toward success. He expressed gratitude to God for the ability to give these gifts.
Teacher Jeric is well-known for his advocacy of sharing his blessings with his students. He regularly prepares free breakfasts or lunches for his advisory class, ensuring that his students are well-nourished and cared for.
