JK Labajo expressed support for his beauty queen girlfriend
Singer-actor JK Labajo said that he is proud of his girlfriend Miss Universe Philippines 2024 candidate Dia Maté.
In February this year, JK and Dia have their relationship’s soft launch on Instagram. With their sweet videos together, it was easy for netizens to conclude that Dia is the new girlfriend of JK.
A few days after that, the singer-actor shared a post flexing his girlfriend and this garnered support from their fans.
Before the MUPH 2024 coronation night, JK Labajo started expressing his support for Dia Maté who is a representative of Cavite. He shared a post requesting netizens to vote for his girlfriend. It was inevitable for netizens to comment that this was a “deja vu.”
To recall, JK also campaigned for his ex-girlfriend Maureen Wroblewitz when she joined the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 in which she got the first runner-up spot. JK also quipped about the similarities of how he showed support for his past and present girlfriends.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Bandera, JK once again expressed his support for Dia. “As long as she’s enjoying what she’s doing and as long as that’s what she wants to do, that’s something I’ll support,” the singer-actor said.
JK also said that he is proud of his girlfriend. “I’m definitely proud of her. This is what I keep on telling her,” he said.
Meanwhile, JK Labajo will be returning as Gino in the upcoming series High Street, the sequel to Senior High. This is produced by Dreamscape Entertainment in partnership with ABS-CBN.
