PAGASA Says Fair Weather to Prevail Over Most Parts of PH

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that fair weather is expected over most parts of the country.

On Monday (May 6, 2024), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The easterlies will affect the country’s weather conditions.

PAGASA weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio reported that easterlies will be affecting the country. It will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms will bring similar weather conditions over Metro Manila and the remaining parts of the country.

Aurelio said that fair weather with hot and humid temperatures will prevail over most parts of the country.

“Ngayong Lunes, asahan ang maganda at maaliwalas na panahon sa buong bansa,” Aurelio said.

However, rain may still occur especially in the eastern sections of the country due to thunderstorms.

“Asahan pa rin ang maalinsangan na panahon pero may tiyansa pa rin ng isolated na pag-ulan dahil sa thunderstorms lalo na sa silangang bahagi ng bansa,” he added.

No low-pressure areas or weather disturbances are expected to enter or form within the Philippine area of responsibility within the next few days,

  • Metro Manila: 26 to 35 degrees Celsius
  • Baguio City: 18 to 27 degrees Celsius
  • Laoag City: 26 to 34 degrees Celsius
  • Tuguegarao: 26 to 38 degrees Celsius
  • Legazpi City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa City: 27 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay: 24 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Kalayaan Islands: 27 to 35 degrees Celsius
  • Iloilo City: 27 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Cebu: 28 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Tacloban City: 26 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Cagayan De Oro City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Zamboanga City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Davao City: 26 to 34 degrees Celsius

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition throughout the country will be slight to moderate. PAGASA did not raise a gale warning in any seaboards of the country.
