Bianca Gonzalez missed her former PBB co-hosts
Kapamilya host Bianca Gonzalez shared that it was a different atmosphere when celebrities Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Padilla were her co-hosts in the reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
When PBB was launched back in 2005, Toni and Mariel were among the pioneer hosts with veteran TV host Willie Revillame. Later on, the show was led by Toni, and Bianca was added.
For many years, Toni, Mariel, and Bianca hosted the show. Eventually, Mariel decided to leave and in 2022, Toni announced that she was signing off as the main host of the reality show.
Bianca Gonzalez became the main host and she was joined by former PBB housemates Robi Domingo, Kim Chiu, Enchong Dee, and Melai Contiveros.
In a recent interview, based on the article in The Philippine Star, Bianca said that even though she loves her current co-hosts, who she considers like her younger brothers and sisters, it is still different when she was hosting the show with Mariel Rodriguez and Toni Gonzaga.
“As much as sobra kong love na parang kapatid na itong sila Robi, Kim, Enchong, Melai. Parang ang tingin ko sa kanila parang baby brothers and baby sisters na hanggang pagtanda namin parang ate ako, iba pa rin talaga ‘yung dating, power, command and chemistry din no’ng panahon na si Toni, Mariel, ako ‘yung nag-host ng early years ng ‘PPB’,” Bianca shared.
She added that she can’t compare the then and now and she can’t say that one is better than the other because time changes. However, she said that OG is different. She can say that Toni and Mariel had something different to be offered.
Bianca also said that just by watching her two former co-hosts, she has learned a lot from them.
Meanwhile, it was announced recently that the Pinoy Big Brother house is set to open again for its Gen 11 season.
