Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo Postpone Wedding
Here’s why Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo decided to do this.
Siargao-based couple Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo are putting their wedding on hold because of this reason.
Andi Eigenmann and partner, pro-surfer Philmar Alipayo have been engaged for over three years now. To recall, Andi and Philmar’s engagement happened in 2020 and they announced it by sharing a photo of them while she flaunted her beautiful engagement ring.
The engagement was nothing grand but it was everything she wanted and more. It was simple and sincere just like how she wanted for the rest of their lives to be.
To recall, they met in 2018 when the actress attended an awarding ceremony and quickly became friends. In 2019, they welcomed their daughter Lilo and she was followed by Koa, their son. Andi has a daughter with a previous partner and Philmar also has children with his previous partner.
When are they getting married?
It’s been over three years now but something happened that made them decide to hold it for now. They actually wanted their wedding to take place this year but unfortunate events happened such as the death of her mother Jaclyn Jose. She is still learning to come to terms with the reality that her mother has already passed.
“Honestly, we wanted to get married this year. But under the circumstances, we decided to wait a bit. It was suppose to be for mom,” Eigenmann said.
Meanwhile, just recently, Andi received a posthumous Honorary Distinction from 2nd Parangal ng Sining, a recognition for her late mother. The event happened at the Seda Hotel, Vertis North, Quezon City on April 19.
As for healing from her mother’s passing, she hopes that she will eventually get there. For now, she will focus on the good things and know that wherever she might be, she is proud of her and that she loves her and her grandchildren.
