Richard’s breakup with his estranged wife Sarah Lahbati caught the attention of the online community. Amid their silence, several speculations surfaced against them. They haven’t directly spoken about their separation. Sarah’s statement was just they are both single now.
Following the breakup, a photo of Richard with Barbie at a bar circulated online. Because of this, netizens speculate that there is something romantic between them.
However, a source previously explained the reason why Richard Gutierrez and Barbie Imperial were spotted together at a bar. It was said that the actor visited the bar in which his friends are co-owners with Barbie.
However, last month, Richard and Babie shared photos on their respective Instagram pages and these ignited another round of relationship rumors. Netizens speculated that they were together on an island.
In a recent article by Abante entertainment writer Jun Lalin, he shared that friends have been asking him about the issue between Richard and Barbie, as well as the actor’s issue with his estranged wife.
“So heto na ang sagot namin sa mga nangungulit — NR as in no reaction si Richard sa mga isyu about Sarah and Barbie, ha!” the entertainment writer shared. Lalin added that every time he and Richard would chat, the actor is not mentioning anything about Sarah nor Barbie.
The writer added that whatever the issue, Richard is not asking them anything. Lalin also shared that someone close to Richard also noticed that the actor appeared to be nonchalant about the issues being attached to his name.
