Is it true that Kathryn Bernardo likes someone right now?
A source revealed that Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo and Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards will remain as friends because the actress likes someone else.
Kathryn and Alden’s onscreen chemistry is undeniable. Their movie Hello, Love, Goodbye was a big hit and held the top-grossing Pinoy film for many years.
Because of that success, fans have been anticipating the HLG sequel. However, a source recently revealed that the supposed part two that happened in 2021 did not push through because allegedly, Kathryn’s then-boyfriend Supereme Idol Daniel Padilla hindered her from doing the sequel.
It was rumored that Daniel was jealous of Alden. Based on the article in Bandera, this was the alleged reason why the Supreme Idol went to Hong Kong where Kathryn and Alden shot the film. It was said that Daniel went there to check on his girlfriend but the press release stated that he visited the whole team, including director Cathy Garcia-Molino who is close to him.
Bandera entertainment writer Reggee Bonoan shared what a source revealed about Kathyrn and Alden. To recall, Alden was one of the celebrity friends of Kathryn who joined her birthday celebration in Palawan.
The Kapuso actor also surprised Kathryn with a bouquet during her surprise birthday attended by friends and colleagues. At that party, fans expressed ‘kilig’ for Kathryn and Alden’s sweet moments.
However, a source revealed that most likely, Kathryn and Daniel will remain just friends and allegedly the reason behind this is that the actress likes someone else. “Nabanggit naman ng isa pa naming source na mukhang mananatiling magkaibigan lang sina Alden at Kathryn dahil may ibang gusto raw ang aktres na hindi naman binanggit kung sino,” Bonoan wrote.
When the source was asked about the man who captured the heart of Kathryn, the source just said, “Magugulat ka.”
