Is it true that Daniel Padilla did not want Kathryn Bernardo to the HLG sequel?
A source claimed that Supreme Idol Daniel Padilla stopped Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo from doing the Hello, Love, Goodbye sequel with Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards.
Kathryn and Alden starred in the 2019 blockbuster hit movie. Their unexpected tandem received a warm welcome from the Pinoy viewers. Fans have been asking for the part two of this movie.
HLG went through a lot before it was materialized. Reportedly, it was first offered to LizQuen loveteam of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil. Then, it was said that it was offered to KathNiel, the tandem of Kathryn and Daniel.
Previously, Liza shared in an interview that Enrique should have been Kathryn’s leading man in the movie and not Alden.
In recent weeks, the KathDen loveteam has been creating a buzz on social media. Alden Richards joined Kathryn Bernardo in her birthday celebration in Palawan. The Kapuso star also attended the surprise birthday party for the Kapamilya actress and their sweet moments brought “kilig” to their fans.
With this, fans are getting excited that HLG sequel will be happening soon. Based on the article by Bandera entertainment writer Reggee Bonoan, the sequel should have happened years ago if Daniel Padilla did not hinder his now ex-girlfriend from doing it.
The showbiz writer shared that a source revealed that right after the blockbuster response, the sequel was already being planned.
“Nu’ng kumita ang HLG, may follow-up agad sana at naka-set na kaso nagkaroon ng pandemya kaya 2021 dapat sinimulan. Eh, umarya ang lolo Daniel mo at binawalan si Kathryn na ‘wag gawin kaya hindi natuloy,” Bonoan shared what the source said.
Now that Kathryn and Daniel are no longer together, the source said the actress will do the sequel as no one is stopping her now. The source added that Kathryn will do what is good for her career and she and Alden are friends after all.
