Actress Sarah Lahbati reacted to her photo with a guy in Hong Kong creating speculations that she now has a new boyfriend.
Sarah’s breakup with actor Richard Gutierrez was confirmed last year. Reportedly, they are processing their annulment. In a previous interview, the actress mentioned that she is now single.
Just recently, it was rumored that she has a special man in her life now as she was spotted dining with a guy in a restaurant in Hong Kong.
The source of talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz shared the photo and said that it was just Sarah Lahbati and the unnamed guy who dined in the restaurant. With this, it was inevitable for netizens to speculate that she is dating that guy.
In an interview on April 2, based on the article in PEP, the actress was asked about her viral photo with a guy. She shared that she was in Hong Kong for an art convention. The actress said that it has been her dream to travel around and she is happy with what she experienced.
Then, she answered the viral photo. “And that photo circulating around is one of my friends, as simple as that. I visited Hong Kong and met up with different friends,” she said.
Sarah also stressed that there is nothing wrong if she is mingling with guy friends because she is now single. The actress that it does not bother her if people would speculate.
“But I think as, as a woman, we’re all allowed to have guy friends. But again, it’s okay to speculate because, again, I’m single that and it is part of this whole new thing,” Sarah Lahbati said.
