APRIL FOOLS: Man Tattoos Forehead to Win Challenge Prize, Store Refuses to Pay

A man got a tattoo on his forehead to win the prize in the challenge, but the store did not pay and said it was just an April Fools’ prank.

April Fools’ Day, celebrated annually on April 1st, is known for pranks, hoaxes, and practical jokes. While most pranks are harmless and bring laughter, some can go horribly wrong similar to a recent incident involving a man in Pampanga, Philippines.

A man named Ramil Albano decided to get a tattoo of a popular takoyaki brand’s logo on his forehead after seeing a Facebook post offering a cash prize of P100,000 for anyone who would do so.

The Facebook page Taragis Takoyaki shared the post, initially seemed legitimate, with many believing it to be a genuine opportunity to win a huge amount of cash. The post quickly spread like a wildfire online.

The post, which appeared at 3:36 PM, contained an image of the takoyaki brand’s logo with the caption announcing the cash prize for anyone willing to get the tattoo. However, hidden within the photo was a disclaimer that read “APRIL FOOL’S,” visible only upon clicking on the photo.

Unfortunately, the man failed to notice this important detail before proceeding with his decision. Eventually, the takoyaki brand made another post acknowledging the messages they had received about a man taking the challenge seriously and getting the tattoo.
