Kiray Celis shared her experience working with Marian Rivera
Kapuso comedienne Kiray Celiz revealed something about the attitude of Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera.
Kiray had the chance to work with Marian in the new Kapuso series My Guardian Alien. This project served as the teleserye comeback of Marian. One of the cast members is veteran Marissa Delgado who revealed in a media conference that she felt “natatakot” to the wife of Dingdong Dantes.
Marissa said that with Marian’s star status, she felt that way but this changed eventually as their shooting went on.
Kiray Celis also shared what she experienced working with Marian Rivera. The young comedienne revealed that there were people who warned her about the Primetime Queen, based on the article in Newsko.
Kiray said that she is thankful to have the chance to work with Marian even though she heard negative things about the drama actress.
“Ako na ‘yung magsasabi. Siyempre kapag sinabi mong Marian Rivera, ang daming magsasabi sa ‘yo, ‘Naku, makakatrabaho mo si Marian. Good luck sa ‘yo,’” Kiray said, adding that there were those who had that warning and would say negative things.
On the other hand, Kiray stressed that what she heard was different from what she saw in Marian. “Gusto kong balikan isa isa kasi lahat po ‘yun mali. Lahat po ‘yun, kabaligtaran sa lahat ng sinasabi nila,” she said.
She added that Marian just looked intimidating but she was actually funny. “Kung gaano sinasabi nila maldita, sobrang kulit,” Kiray said. The comedienne also said that Marian Rivera is not “maarte” and everyone on the set felt this and they are thankful to work with the Primetime Queen.
Previously, Marian shared her reaction to other celebrities who feel intimidated by her. She said that it is what it is and this is inevitable.
