It’s Showtime hosts received a warm welcome from the Kapuso network
Kapamilya noontime show It’s Showtime officially signs a contract with GMA Network on March 20, 2024.
Last year, the Kapamilya noontime show signed a contract with GTV, a free channel also under the GMA Network. The show is airing on the Kapamilya channel and GTV but a recent change was made.
Following the announcement that TAPE Inc, the producer behind the now-defunct Tahanang Pinakamasaya, and the Kapuso network that the show will be discontinued, rumors surfaced that it will be replaced by the noontime show led by Vice Ganda.
At about 3:30 PM on Wednesday, It’s Showtime hosts altogether went out of their studio wearing red outfits and with accents of red. ABS-CBN entertainment reporter Anna Cerezo shared updates on X.

The hosts rode on a blue glittery float with the show’s logo on top of it going to GMA Network. Before they traveled to their “good news,” they prayed.

As they arrived in front of the GMA compound, it could be heard that the hosts were singing their theme song which has become a daily anthem for their avid viewers.

The entertainment reporter also shared a video showing how the hosts of the Kapamilya show were warmly welcomed at the Kapuso network.

Kapuso United page on X shared that inside the building, the It’s Showtime hosts were welcomed by Kapuso executives. It can also be seen that ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak was there. Many members of the media were also present during this momentous event in the history of Philippine television.

Fans of It’s Showtime expressed their happiness for the new home of their favorite noontime show. The contract signing happens on GMA’s Studio 7. The event is hosted by Kapamilya host Robi Domingo and Kapuso host Iya Villania.
