How Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero handled the problems with the children?
Married couple Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero opened up about how the rough patch affected twins Chesi and Kino.
It is not a secret that sometime in 2022, married couple Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero encountered a rough patch in their marriage. It was the time when people speculated that they were already separated but the couple rose above the situation and still chose each other.
The rough patch was true but they were able to get through it. Last February, Chiz and Heart’s renewal of vows happened, a testament to their strong relationship.
Recently, during their interview in “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda”, they talked about this difficult phase in marriage. The King Of Talk asked them how they handled it without involving Chesi and Kino, the twins of the senator.
According to Escudero, they were never involved but Heart pointed out that they were smart enough to know what was happening despite not being told. She even remembered this one time when she was moved by what Kino had said to her.
“They never said anything pero I remember, I was on the treadmill, lumapit si Kino sa ‘kin,” the Kapuso celebrity shared. She added, “He said ‘Tita Heart, who’s going to take care of you? You don’t know how to get a taxi.’ Tapos parang naiyak ako talaga, kasi he was worried about me.”
At that moment, she gave the boy an assurance but deep inside, she realized that they love her. The kids are not involved but they know and Escudero talked it out to them. They were allowed to ask questions which he answered outrightly with honesty.
“I told them, something’s going on. But that they should be confident and have faith that it will be alright,” Chiz said in the interview.
With that rough patch, what Heart learned about marriage is the essence of balance. She expressed that if not for Chiz’s strength at that “time “darkest time” of her life, they would not be there together in that interview.
